Kelly Coyle DiNorcia lives in northwestern New Jersey with her husband, two children, and a cast of four-legged family members.  When she is not writing she is a non-profit director, dog rescuer, and community volunteer.  A lifelong learner, Kelly earned an M.Ed. in Humane Education from Cambridge College and the Institute for Humane Education, and a Certificate in Nonviolence Studies as a member of the Metta Center’s inaugural class.  She has spoken internationally about social justice, animal welfare, humane parenting, and creative writing to children and parent groups.
